Aisha Tyler Paying Ex Husband $2 Million
Aisha Tyler will be dishing out some serious cash to her ex husband, Jeff Tietjens. Over the next four years, the actress, comedian and The Talk co-host will pay him a little over 31k in spousal support monthly + an additional 500k. The couple will split everything else.
The couple had been married for 25 years, before ending their marriage. Last year, Aisha confirmed their split on The Talk, emotionally telling viewers:
There were a lot of stories on the internet over the weekend about my husband and I getting a divorce, and those are true. My husband and I are separating, and I filed for divorce a couple of weeks ago.
She continued,
Even though we’re separating, all I want for him is joy and fulfillment in whatever he chooses to do in his life next. And whatever I can do to help him do that, I want to do it.
I don’t, not in any way, see this relationship as a failure. I was with this extraordinary person. I had this extraordinary love affair for 25 years of my life. And that is how I see it. He’s a wonderful person. He’s been my best friend for almost my entire life. I’ll always, always love him.
