Toni Braxton & Fiancé Birdman Cuddle In Rare IG Photo Before Toni Deletes It

Superstar Toni Braxton and her fiancé American rapper/producer Birdman, born Bryan Brooks, appear to still be going strong. In a now-deleted post, Toni Braxton shared a photo of the two close together via her Instagram page with the simple caption: 

“Times like these you need love on your side.” 

Even though the two are private when it comes to their relationship, Toni Braxton did initially share the news about her engagement with Birdman to her sisters on her family’s reality tv show The Braxton Family Values in 2018. 

Since publically announcing their engagement, the two have taken extreme measures to protect their relationship. In April of last year, Toni Braxton admitted to going along with break-up rumors in hopes of it giving the couple some privacy.  

Now it looks like Toni Braxton is officially ready to get married. During a recent interview with Atlanta’s radio personalities, Rick & Sasha, the Grammy-Award winning singer let it be known that before 2020 ends she and Birdman will be husband and wife but currently they’re still working on finalizing wedding details. 

“We have gone back and forth on wedding dates. We had a great date but then it was getting too big. We didn’t want a big wedding, and then we said okay, we don’t want it too small. Then he said he ‘Okay, let’s do the drive-thru.’ I’m like ‘We are NOT doing a drive-thru, I’m not ordering fries after we get married. We’ve been trying to figure it out.”

She also spoke on keeping their romance private (which could explain her post-and-delete),

“We’re aloof…You don’t hardly ever see us together. When we were out, it was a lot of people saying things and I’m kind of sensitive. I can’t deny it. And I want to keep our business private. People can ask me questions, I’m fine with that. It’s just sometimes, people just have too much of an opinion, I think socially, if you’re reading on stuff, and I didn’t like that. So we decided we were gonna keep our life quieter.”
