After working with Ayesha Curry for the past 5 years, Flutie Entertainment, has filed a lawsuit against the mother-of-three, citing “significant and unprecedented results,” as their reasoning.
In response to the lawsuit, Ayesha Curry’s lawyer, Michael Plonsker says:
“Ayesha Curry terminated her business relationship with disgruntled manager Robert Flutie in early 2019”
He continued:
“We are confident that the legal process will find his accusations nonsensical and completely unfounded.”
Acknowledging the role they played in Ayesha’s rising fame, Flutie Entertainment stated in their suit that they contribute to her success as she was mainly known only as the wife of NBA player Steph Curry beforehand. They affirm that before Ayesha parted ways with Flutie Entertainment, the company had done a large number of work with developing sponsors, partnerships, and legal and financial framework for one of Ayesha’s business, Homemade. In response, the company believes Ayesha parted ways to deny them their fair share of money.
The company is now seeking a minimum of $10 million from the defendant, as well as a guaranteed stake in two of Ayesha’s businesses, Homemade and Yardie Girl.
Ayesha Curry has yet to make an official statement on the lawsuit.
