Lauren London Celebrates Her & Nipsey Hussle’s Son, Kross’ Birthday

Actress Lauren London recently shared a photo of her adorable son Kross that she shares with slain rapper and west coast icon, Nipsey Hussle (born Ermias Asghedom), celebrating his 4th birthday.

The usually private actress took to her Instagram account to express these words to her son:

My Little Prince.
Son of Ermias.
You Are Love.
You will Soar.
I am Honored to Be Your Mommy.
Happiest Birthday Kross The Boss.

Lauren London, who’s dedicated much of her page to Nipsey Hussle, whom she called her “husband,” also found a way to include him in celebrating Kross as well by posting photos in her Instagram stories of Kross with his dad.

Nipsey Hussle was not only a rapper well known on the west coast, but abroad.  The self-proclaimed hustler turned rapper was an activist who empowered people, namely in the Black community, to learn about owning property and businesses.

Nipsey was a Grammy-nominated rapper who posthumously became a Grammy award winner (“Higher” DJ Khaled feat. Nipsey Hussle and John Legend), and shared his last red carpet moment with Lauren London.

Affectionately known as “Nip” by many of his peers in South Central Los Angeles, Nipsey reportedly began dating Lauren London in 2013.  They each had one child prior to their relationship and together they had Kross Asghedom, born August 31, 2016.

The rapper was slain last year on March 31 in the city he called home, and left a gaping hole in the global hip hop community.  The tragic shooting was caught on camera and led to the arrest and charge of Eric Holder.

The killing of Nipsey Hussle was felt all over but resonated in the city of Los Angeles.  An enormous-sized memorial was held for him at the Staples Center with commemorations taking place all over the city, including the Slauson Ave. and Crenshaw Blvd intersection, now renamed, “Nipsey Hussle Square”.

During his memorial service, Lauren London and Nipsey’s sister, Samantha Smith, took to the stage with Nipsey’s children to send their love.
