Hitmaka – Woman Granted Permanent Domestic Violence Restraining Order Against Producer
While music producer Hitmaka, also known by the rapper name Yung Berg, has been vocal about unforgettable events in his career, a woman has been granted a permanent domestic violence restraining order against him.
Her attorney, celebrity lawyer Lisa Bloom, announced the news on Twitter Thursday (Nov. 19th).
The woman, named Talia Tilley, filed a three-year domestic violence restraining order against Hitmaka, whose real name is Christian Ward, 35, on May 29, 2020.
According to Tilley’s account via her lawyers:
“Ms. Tilley alleged in her declaration signed under the penalty of perjury that in the early morning hours of March 14,2020, Mr. Ward brutally beat her. She alleged that he slapped her, pushed her to the ground, punched her in the face and violently hit her in the face with the bottom of a pistol. Ms. Tilley alleged that she suffered from facial injuries including bruising, deep lacerations and a broken nose.”
Hitmaka shared his side on Instagram and said Talia Tilley was never his girlfriend and said he attacked her because she set him up to get robbed. He wrote back then:
” I could’ve been murdered inside my home on Saturday & I would like to take this time & thank all of my family, friends, & colleagues who have reached out regarding the matter sending love and positive energy.”
He posted footage of three men attempting to break inside of his home also saying,
“I made a crucial mistake which could’ve costed my life THIS WOMAN WAS NOT MY GF EVER. I won’t dive further into this & will let my lawyers move forward accordingly. Pls stay safe amidst these tragic times not only for myself but the entire world.”

Tilley previously granted an emergency order against the producer, but it expired on March 20th.
Hitmaka has denied the charges and did not appear in court according to the Bloom documentation.
In addition to the stay-away order, Hitmaka is also not allowed to harass Tilley on social media. He also has to attend a 52-week battery intervention program.
The rapper producer has had incidents related to domestic violence previously. In November 2104, he was arrested for allegedly choking then-girlfriend and former Love and Hip Hop Hollywood cast member Masika.
