Joe Budden Breaks Silence On Rory & Mal’s Absence On His Podcast: Whenever They Feel Like Returning, They’ll Return
Joe Budden has addressed speculation that his podcast hosts, Rory and Mal are leaving the popular show, making him a trending topic on Twitter.
Fans noticed Rory and Mal were MIA on a recent episode of the podcast. Rumors that they were leaving fueled even more when an episode was then canceled.
Joe Budden has spoken on the rumors and said on “Tea Leaves”, an episode that aired Wednesday (March 24th),
“I’ll eliminate some of the suspense. This is Rory’s seat, and this is Mal’s seat. Whenever they feel like returning to their seats, then they’ll return to their seats. And then what will happen is the same thing when your star player comes back to the team.”
He said he “loves when podcasts go through this type of turmoil,” because it “shapes character.”
Joe Budden confessed he didn’t see the change coming pointing out that they’re like brothers to him.
He continued,
“Sometimes in friendship and business, everyone needs to take a step back and go to their respective corners. Sometimes everyone’s perspective and perception on how to go about that and how it should be executed is different.”
Joe Budden still played coy about the details of what happened, but fans had lots to say about it on Twitter.
