Former NBA player Shannon Brown recently played in a BIG3 league game, and many people had something to say about his physical appearance.
This past Saturday (July 24th), the BIG3’s Aliens took on the Killer 3’s. The BIG3 is a basketball league founded by Ice Cube back in 2017. It’s a 3-on-3 league comprised of former NBA and FIBA (International Basketball Federation) stars.
The current Aliens roster features Shannon Brown, who began his NBA career with the Cleveland Cavaliers back in 2006. He also played for the Chicago Bulls, Charlotte Bobcats, L.A. Lakers, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks, and the Miami Heat.
In the game that went down this past Saturday (July 24th), many were shocked to see Shannon Brown‘s appearance, as he had visibly gained weight.

Since the photo of Shannon Brown went viral, many took to Twitter to comment on the situation. While some made fun of Shannon Brown, many came to his defense. Specifically, multiple people brought up how deceased actor Chadwick Boseman‘s body was commented on before the public learned of his colon cancer diagnosis, pointing out that no one knows what an individual is going through behind closed doors.
