Naomi Osaka Launches Skincare Line KINLÓ For People Of Color
Naomi Osaka is making major moves off the court!
The all-star athlete has officially launched her own skincare line, KINLÓ, that caters to people of color.
She first announced in her Instagram stories yesterday (Sept. 6),
“As a POC I started learning about skin cancer rates affecting people like me wondered why there wasn’t a great product that feels good and protects our skin. So I founded @kinloskin which is a functional skin care line for people with melanated skin.”
She added,
“Tennis can be challenging at times but it has given me this platform which I am so grateful for and allows me to help others in ways I wouldn’t have imagined otherwise. Hope you like it!”

Earlier today (Sept. 7), she let fans know the site is officially up.

Her launch comes just after she had an emotional moment after losing in the US Open over the weekend. She said in a press conference right after that she is taking a break from tennis.
Naomi Osaka first explained,
“I feel like for me, recently, when I win I don’t feel happy. I feel more like a relief. And then when I lose I feel very sad. And I don’t think that’s normal. I don’t really want to cry, but basically, I feel like…”
She continues,
“… This is very hard to articulate. Well, basically I feel like I’m kind of at this point where I’m trying to figure out what I want to do. I honestly don’t know when I’m gonna play my next tennis match. I think I’m gonna take a break from playing for a while.”
