To date, Tamar Braxton has 5 studio albums under her belt. Her second album, ‘Love and War’ was released in 2013 and secured the songstress 3 out of the 4 Grammy nominations she has earned so far within her career. The project debuted at number 2 on the US Billboard 200 chart and sold 114,000 copies during the first week of sales.
Tamar’s latest album, ‘Bluebird of Happiness,’ was released a few years ago in 2017. The project was a hit and reached number 1 on the US Billboard independent chart and 5 on the US Top Albums Sales chart.
Before the album’s release, Tamar announced that ‘Bluebird of Happiness’ would be her final studio album. During a previous interview, she addressed her plans to leave the music industry and said,
“There are a lot of things that I want to do, and a lot of things that are in the works. There’s a lot of things that are going on in my relationship and me being close to this music industry, and whatever I can do to eliminate all of the stress and problems off of my relationship, I would rather do that.”
At the time of ‘Bluebird of Happiness’ release, Tamar was still married to her now-ex-husband Vincent Herbert, 48, who was an executive producer for the project. They share one child together and officially divorced in 2019.
