Rapper Chika Posts Frightening Messages About A Failed Attempt To Take Her Own Life & Plans To Try Again + Later Posts Check-In On Twitter: I’m Alive

Our prayers and positive thoughts are being sent to Chika.

Yesterday, March 26th, the 25-year-old rap artist posted alarming messages about a failed attempt to take her own life. The rapper goes on the suggest that she’s liable to try again at any given moment.

Grammy nominated artist Jane Chika Oranika, known by her stage name Chika, is seemingly dealing with some tough mental health struggles. In a recent instagram post, the artist implied that she recently tried to jump off of the “Intercontinental”, but was stunted by “scary metal stairs”. The young rapper detailed the attempt writing:

“i went to the top of the intercontinental, but could not jump. not because i don’t want to, but because the metal stairs were scary. that’s the things about having a f—ed up brain”

The Alabama native seemingly referred to previous statements she made about taking her life back in 2020 writing:

“it looks like crying wolf, but its not. it’s just difficult to find the right way.

Chika goes on to discuss her feelings of being “too capable to fail”, comparing herself to the mythical Greek character Icarus who caused his own death by “flying too close to the sun”. Additionally, the artists claims that she’s seen the future of her life, and that her parents can attest to that writing:

“i knew everything in my life before it happened. ask my mom and dad. they heard me predict my life. i was not wrong and i am still not wrong. i am not speaking things into existence, i am speaking of that already exists. the story.”

Following up, Chika posted a series of messages claiming she didn’t plan on making it home writing:

“I’m not making it home….find my body in the st paul idgaf….*madison actually hope ur happy”

Reportedly, law officers went to Chika’s home in North Hollywood to conduct a welfare check, however the artist was not there.

Since the original post, Chika checked-in on Twitter stating the was alive and leaving a hospital:
