Mike Tyson To Star In New Thriller Film ‘Black Flies’
Mike Tyson is returning to the big screen. According to reports, the legendary boxer is joining Sean Penn and Tye Sheridan in a new film called Black Flies.
The project is a dramatic thriller directed by Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire. It is an adaptation of the novel by Shannon Burke, is set in the high-wire world of New York City paramedics and takes a look at the toll the job inflicts on their lives.
Mike Tyson’s role is described as a lead in the movie, and he will play a superior officer.
To date, Tyson’s notable film and TV roles include: The Hangover and The Hangover Part II, as well appearances in How I Met Your Mother, Family Guy and Scary Movie V.
