Dwight Howard scored in more ways than one while wearing his iconic Superman cape.

It seems the ‘S’ on Dwight Howard’s chest really stands for ‘score.’ Former  L.A. Laker and eight-time All-Star Dwight Howard shared surprising details about his famed Superman cape worn at the 2008 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

Dwight Howard was a recent guest on BS w/ Jake Paul. Host Jake Paul praised Howard for winning the NBA Slam Dunk Contest in one of the coolest moments in NBA history. However, Jake Paul’s girlfriend & co-host Julia Rose had raunchier details on her mind. 

She plainly asked Howard if he’d ever had sex in the red cape. The 36-year-old seemed surprised by the question, but he stopped laughing just long enough to confirm that he had. 

Jake Paul yelled:

“He did!! Dwight Howard had sex in the cape!”

His co-host added:

“Oh my God! I love it!”

Howard then admitted that he’d worn the cape many times during sex since dominating the historical event. And while he didn’t dive into too many dirty details, he did let the hosts know that he’s since retired the cape, for now, placing it in a plaque with all its sentimental value.

Howard said:

“Every time I look at it, it’s like a gold medal. Ahhh!”

Howard, who plays center, is a basketball prodigy. He attended Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy and graduated as one of the nation’s top basketball prospects. Howard then chose to forgo college, entering the 2004 NBA draft instead, and later became the youngest player in NBA history to amass 7,000 career rebounds. The eight-time All-NBA Team honoree has also been named Defensive Player of the Year three times.

Howard has been vocal about transitioning to the WWE if he’s not signed by an NBA team this upcoming season, but as he told Julia Rose, it’s unlikely we’d see any cape antics in his wrestling career.
