Producer Hitkidd Claims Nicki Minaj & Cardi B Both Wanted To Be Featured On GloRilla’s ‘F.N.F. (Let’s Go)’ Remix: ‘I Was Tryna Change The Game’
Would you have liked to hear Nicki Minaj or Cardi B on the remix for “F.N.F”?
According to Memphis music producer Hitkidd, credited for helping push rapper GloRilla to the forefront, a few female hitmakers wanted to be featured on GloRilla’s “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” remix record. On Sunday (Dec. 3), Hitkidd took to X (formally Twitter) and revealed that not only did Cardi B request to rap on the track but her arch-nemesis Nicki Minaj did as well.

The original version of “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” was released in April 2022 and quickly went viral, solidifying GloRilla as a household name. Reportedly, HitKidd initially created the beat for Megan Thee Stallion, however, he could not get her on the song fast enough, so he reached out to local Memphis up-and-coming rapper GloRilla to record a bop.

Due to the song’s success, a remix was seemingly a no-brainer for the music creator, and, according to Hitkidd, many female hip-hop heavy hitters were lining up to jump on the new version of the song. HitKidd shared,
“No cap, Cardi wanted to get on the FNF remix and I hit Meg up to get on there with her. I was tryna change the game and put the hottest women artists on one song!”

HitKidd continued, claiming Nicki Minaj herself called him for a chance to be on the remix.
“Nicki Minaj called me to get on the FNF remix but I still went who I already had on it because I gave them my word.”

He then clarified why he didn’t pick Nicki for the remix, letting her fans know there’s no beef between them.
“I fw Nicki’s artistry but I made a moral decision. Like I said I was trying to get everybody one song and change the game.”

Ultimately, Latto and City Girls rapper JT were the artists chosen to be featured on the remix of Hitkidd’s song.
