Boxer Ryan Garcia Banned From World Boxing Council After Racist Social Media Rant
Update (July 5, 2024): Boxer Ryan Garcia is facing the consequences after going on an alarming racist rant on social media yesterday (Thursday, July 4).
After his series of messages went viral online, World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaimán announced via X (formerly Twitter), that Ryan Garcia is no longer a part of the organization. He also expressed concern about the athlete’s mental health.
“Exercising my authority as president of the WBC , I am hereby expelling Ryan Garcia from any activity with our organization. We reject any form of discrimination. I fear for Ryan well being as he has declined multiple attempts for our help with mental health and substance abuse.”

Original Story (July 4, 2024): Boxer Ryan Garcia has been sharing some interesting thoughts on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
The champion fighter unloaded a series of disturbing posts earlier today (July 4th), alleging that he’s seen baby-eating rituals and is a victim of sexual assault.

Ryan Garcia’s rant seemingly began after he randomly declared his “love” for Black people. The 25-year-old wrote in a set of tweets:
“I hate people that hate black people”
“Bro I’ve seen a black men shoot the B brains, brains, brains out of a black man”
“I love Black people”

He followed up with:
“Yall worried about the word ER hard r But nighas are sending the nighas to The ER word”
“I love n***as”
Going on, Ryan Garcia began targeting the Black community, sharing an article about “Black on Black crime” and alleging in multiple tweets that he was “raped” by “a Black Man” and claimed “everyone” pretends it didn’t happen. He wrote across several posts:
“Numbers don’t lie Chiraq or Iraq”
“So a black man raped me and it’s okay and everyone acts like it never happened”

He added:
“I’ve seen babies being eaten and yall think I’m Ok”
“Black can’t be racist? Okay”
Continuing, Garcia doubled down on his claim to have seen people eating children and shared more articles suggesting there is an insidious group of Hollywood elites sacrificing kids. He wrote in more posts:
“They ate babies and yall think im LYING”
“Talk say I hate everyone but they kill people Eat babies Black people have ate be babies And Mexican F**K EVERYONE”

At this time it’s unclear what exactly prompted Garcia’s alarming rant. As we’ve been covering, the athlete has reportedly been on a downward spiral since his win against Devin Haney was overturned due to him testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs.

Shortly after news of the disqualifying test spread, reports claimed that Garcia’s family members were worried about him and sent police to conduct a welfare check. Though Garcia has maintained that he did not take any drugs and is of sound mind, his latest X rant might suggest otherwise.
Many of Garcia’s posts have since been removed, specifically the ones where he uses derogatory wording. He also removed posts that, for whatever reason, mentioned the likes of other celebs such as Kanye West, Tom Brady, Michael Jordan, Tom Holland, and Zendaya.
