Former Vikings Star Adrian Peterson Faces DWI Charge Following Arrest In Minnesota
Adrian Peterson is facing legal trouble.
The former Minnesota Vikings star was booked into the Hennepin County Jail in Minnesota for fourth-degree driving while impaired. Peterson had been in Minnesota on Thursday, April 24, for the team’s draft day party but was pulled over around 3:20 a.m. on Friday, April 25, for allegedly speeding on southbound Highway 77 and 66th Street in Richfield.

Authorities stated that Peterson was driving 83 mph in a 55 mph zone and recorded an alcohol concentration of 0.14 on a breath test.
The Hennepin County Jail has confirmed Peterson’s release from custody after posting $4,000 bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for May 9 at 9:00 a.m.
