Charles Barkley At Risk Of Having Coronavirus, Waiting For Test Results While In Self Quarantine
Charles Barkley could be the latest celebrity suffering the coronavirus.
The NBA legend and sportscaster explained that he’s been in self-quarantine Thursday night (March 12).
“I spent the earlier part of the week in New York City. When I got to Atlanta yesterday I wasn’t feeling well. I talked to a couple of people at Turner and a couple of doctors, and they told me to self-quarantine for the next 48 hours. So I started yesterday, this is my second day. I haven’t been feeling great. They didn’t want me to take any chances, so they told me to quarantine myself for 48 hours.

He added that he did get tested for the coronavirus, but was still waiting on the results at the time.
“I went and took the coronavirus test late this afternoon. I have not gotten the results back, so I’m just kind of in limo right now. I’m really hoping it was just a bug. But like I said I was in New York earlier this week and that was a hot spot. When I got to Atlanta I just wasn’t feeling well. I took the test, I haven’t gotten the results back, and that’s where I’m at right now.”
Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson were the first celebrities publicly diagnosed with the coronavirus earlier this week.
He wrote on Instagram,
“Hello, folks. @ritawilson and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.

Well, now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no?We’ll keep the world posted and updated.
Take care of yourselves!
Hanx!”
He also updated fans on Thursday (March 12) and said they were still in quarantine.

Prayers for everyone impacted by the pandemic!
