Jeezy Is Hosting His Own Talk Show ‘Worth A Conversation’
The evolution of rapper and philanthropist Jeezy continues.
His fiancée “The Real” co-host Jeannie Mai won’t be the only one in their household on the small screen.
Jeezy celebrated his birthday with an announcement that he’s landed his own talk show on Fox Soul.
He said of the show, called Worth A Conversation:
“It has been my passion and my drive to inspire, motivate and educate my culture. Every song I’ve ever written, every word I’ve uttered came from a real place and this is no different.”
He continued:
“Worth A Conversation, is self explanatory. I will talk about issues that directly affect my culture and it’s people. From the front porch conversations to real life situations Worth A Conversation is bridging the gap. My own show, starting Oct 14th 7pm PST 10Pm EST I’m excited to be a part of the FOX Soul family and can’t wait to introduce you to Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins.”Happy Birthday to me.”
Jeezy has already been vocal about social issues that impact the black community. Back in June, he expressed frustration with his experience of voting in Georgia and said:
“I went to vote two days ago in Atlanta, Georgia, home, and I must say I was very upset at the way things were handled. Long lines, they shut down the polls at a certain time so that means people there didn’t even get a chance to vote. If you didn’t know your official’s name and it wasn’t on the ballot you wouldn’t even know who you was voting for so you gotta research that. The machines didn’t work so you can already tell we were at a disadvantage. So I’mma say this, we gotta get on the same page people. If we can show up at a Falcons game for a tailgate party, we could show up at the polls in numbers and forces.”
Congrats to Jeezy! Will you be watching his new show? Comment and let us know.
