Trump & First Lady Melania Trump Tests Positive For COVID-19
President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump have tested positive for coronavirus. The White House physician said
“The President and First Lady are both well at this time, and they plan to remain at home within the White House during their convalescence.”
Friday (Oct. 2nd) morning, Trump tweeted confirming his condition tweeting,
“We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”

Prior to Trump announcing that he has Covid-19, his top aide Hope Hicks tested positive for coronavirus. Hope reportedly traveled Tuesday to Cleveland for the debate on Air Force One with a group that included the president’s closest relatives and advisors.
Trump has canceled today’s rally. His only scheduled event is a closed press call on COVID-19 support to “vulnerable seniors.”
Trump is now the most prominent figure to test positive for Covid-19.
