Trina Addresses Beef With Khia: “The Level Of Disrespect Is Beyond, I Don’t Know You”

 

It looks like Trina is finally addressing her decades long beef with Khia.
Trina appeared on the latest episode of Drink Champs with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN to discuss her career, friendship with Trick Daddy, and her one sided beef with Khia.
According to reports, the two have apparently been at odds with each other since the 2000s, when Trina saw success from her 2000 single “Da Baddest B*tch” and Khia alleged that she wrote the song for Trina but never got any credit. Since then, the “My Neck My Back (Like It)” rapper often makes Trina a talking point on her YouTube show Gag Order, with insults and harsh criticism of the Miami native.

During her recent interview, N.O.R.E. recalled when Khia demanded a rap battle with Trina, claiming that was the first time he’d ever seen the ‘Love & Hip Hop‘ star angry. Trina interjected and informed the host that, that wasn’t the first time Khia has said disparaging remarks about her. Trina explained,
“That’s not the first time she said something to or about me. It’s not about that. Like I said, I would battle anybody. It is what it is. I have records, I get on stage and do what I do and if you another female artist … I’m ready… But when it comes to this particular person, the level of disrespect is beyond. I don’t know you.”
She continued,
“If I don’t know you, I’m not entertaining or feeding into you, that’s just me. Now, it’s two sides of me. It’s this side that’s this polished side, but then I’m from Liberty City, Miami, Florida. That’s the real part. Yes.”

Trina goes on to say she is not a hater and always salutes female artists in the industry and doesn’t understand why Khia constantly comes for her. She explained,

“For me, I just feel like, I learned a lot of stuff in this game. I didn’t come up off the internet… I’m like, in the real world, real streets. So, when I came up, it’s more so about like—you really see me with the female artists in the game, I’m always saluting them, showing them love. Whatever you do, do your thing. I like you, I support you. If I don’t like you, I don’t have to support you.”

Trina added that she never had any ill feelings toward Khia and that their beef has been one-sided. She said,

” I never NOT liked [her], but then you attacked me and slandered my name all these times. For what? Were you looking for attention?…. I can give you attention but then I give you my platform and I’m not doing that. “

The ‘Look Back At Me‘ rapper then explains that she doesn’t have time or energy to keep going back and forth with Khia. She said,

“If I have nothing to do, If I wasn’t traveling, if I was sitting at home with my feet up, bored, not booked…oh it’s a war! We could go at it. But I don’t really have the time for that. I don’t really care about social media, you feel me? I’m so busy making sure my bag is good and making sure everything around me is good and buying property and doing stuff that makes sense.”

Trina continued,

“Please explain to me why I am going on the internet with another girl that I don’t know, like never said hi to. What for? That’s not even my vibe.. I’m from the streets and in the streets, when I see you, it’s on sight. That’s what it is.”

As previously reported, Khia challenged the Miami native to a Verzuz battle back in 2020 claiming she would roast her along with other disparaging remarks.

Not long after, Trina responded to Khia’s remarks during an interview with Miami radio station 99 Jamz, seemingly declining the battle and taking a dig back at Khia. She said,

“I’m not going to entertain the blogs, I’m a not a person that does all of that, everybody knows me, I’m a queen. This is called royalty over here, ok I’m not stepping off my throne to address no bum, no chicks that are beneath me, and nobody that has not worked as hard as I worked for anything.”

Khia has yet to respond to Trina’s recent remarks on Drink Champs.
