Snoop Dogg Sexual Assault Accuser Revives Lawsuit
The woman who accused Snoop Dogg of sexual assault has revived her lawsuit against the rapper three months after the case was initially dismissed!
The alleged victim (identified as Jane Doe) sued the West Coast rap icon in February, claiming he forced her to perform oral sex on him at his recording studio back in 2013. The lawsuit, which Snoop’s team dismissed as “meritless” and “extortive,” was voluntarily dismissed “without prejudice” in April by the plaintiff, which allowed for her lawyers to refile the lawsuit at a later date.

Now, Jane Doe and her legal team resubmitted the lawsuit at a California district court on Wednesday (July 20). It includes the original sexual assault and sexual battery allegations against the rapper and his associate Bishop Don Magic Juan, as well as new defamation claims. They also state that Snoop Dogg allegedly gave his spokesperson permission to reveal her identity in a statement issued after the initial filing.
According to the re-filed suit, the woman claims Snoop Dogg (real name Calvin Broadus Jr.) took to social media with the intention to
“threaten, intimidate and coerce [her] into not exercising her constitutional rights to engage in a mediation”
As previously reported, Snoop Dogg took to Instagram in February–the same day as the mediation session–and wrote
“Gold digger season is here be careful Nefews keep ya guards up.”

The lawsuit states,
“Defendant Snoop Dogg’s pattern and practice of threats, retaliation, harassment, and intimidation unsurprisingly did not stop there.”
A spokesperson for Snoop Dogg has this to say,
“The complaint re-filed today against Snoop Dogg by ‘Jane Doe’ and her attorney is meritless. It follows Jane Doe’s attorney’s voluntarily dismissing just a few months ago her previous complaint on the alleged matter. He also dismissed an earlier complaint – this is the third try. As before, this refiled complaint is riddled with and predicated upon falsehoods and inaccuracies. Moreover, as Jane Doe and her attorney know or should know, Jane Doe has never been Snoop Dogg’s employee.”
The spokesperson continued,
“ In March 2022, the plaintiff and her attorney were served with a motion to dismiss by legal counsel for Snoop Dogg. That motion made clear to Jane Doe and her attorney the false nature of Jane Doe’s allegations against Snoop Dogg. Jane Doe’s attorney then in April 2022 asked the court to dismiss his client’s complaint. Snoop Dogg looks forward to proving the falsity of these allegations.”
As previously reported, the unidentified woman claims Snoop and Bishop Don Juan forced her to perform oral sex in 2013. She claims she went to Don Juan’s home after a Snoop concert in Orange County where he assaulted her. Allegedly, Don Juan then told her to get dressed to go meet Snoop for a possible job opportunity. ‘Jane Doe’ arrived at the studio and went to the bathroom. According to her claims, Snoop Dogg later assaulted her in the bathroom of a studio. The women, who was a former dancer for the “Gin and Juice” rapper, reportedly demanded almost $10 million before filing an official lawsuit.
