Ex NFL Star Antonio Brown Sued For Allegedly Selling Man A Fake Richard Millie Watch For $160K

Antonio Brown is making more headlines.

The NFL star is being sued by Ryan Kane, a Florida resident, for allegedly selling him a fake Richard Mille watch for $160,000 — knowing good and well is was fake and not worth the hefty price tag.

Ryan Kane claimed he transferred the funds to Antonio Brown‘s business after receiving confirmation that the watch—said to be an RM 011 model—was authentic. He was also told it was worth

“in excess of $400,000.”

Ryan Kane claims that he was unaware the watch was a fake until a few weeks later, when he took it to a watch appraiser to have it authenticated and evaluated for insurance purposes — only to discover it was only worth a few hundred dollars. He later found out that Antonio Brown had purchased the counterfeit timepiece and three others like it from a vendor in Dubai earlier this year for less than $500 each.

Kane is suing the free agent for fraud and demanding the return of his funds along with interest.

This, of course, isn’t the first time Brown has been sued — not even in Florida. Just one day after he signed with the New England Patriots as a wide receiver in September 2019, his former female trainer Britney Taylor accused him of sexual assault. Britney Taylor claimed in court records that Brown assaulted her three times, twice in June 2017 and once in May 2018. Brown denied the charges, and his lawyers claimed they believed the case was an effort to get money from their client.

In a statement released through her lawyer at the time, Britney Taylor said,

“As a rape victim of Antonio Brown, deciding to speak out has been an incredibly difficult decision. I have found strength in my faith, my family, and from the accounts of other survivors of sexual assault.  Speaking out removes the shame that I have felt for the past year and places it on the person responsible for my rape. I will cooperate with the NFL and any other agencies; however, at this time, I respectfully request that the media please respect my privacy.”

Soon after Taylor filed her lawsuit, Pittsburgh physician Dr. Victor Prisk alleged in a lawsuit against Brown that the former professional athlete turned rapper owed him thousands of dollars in unpaid bills and frequently farted in his face during an appointment. In a screenshot that Brown later posted, Victor Prisk can be seen appearing to be amused by the fart incident.

Brown recently sparked controversy and faced criticism following an incident that took place while he was staying at a hotel in Dubai. As previously reported, video appears to capture Brown shoving his buttocks into the face of a woman while in the pool while unclothed.

Later, as she swims away from him, he allegedly grabbed his private part and asked if “she wants it.” Brown attributed the event to the NFL, which he alleges is using him to allay concerns over a recent incident involving a player who might have suffered a concussion.
