Russell Westbrook — Video Of Athlete Having Heated Exchange w/ Phoenix Suns Fan Sparks Investigation
Russell Westbrook was in no mood for the smack talk Sunday night (Apr. 16).
Reportedly, Both the NBA and the Phoenix Suns are investigating an incident that took place at the Footprint Center between Russell Westbrook and a fan. The now-viral video shows the Los Angeles Clippers player and an unnamed man exchanging words with each other in what appears to be the club area during halftime. Thankfully, the arena staff was able to de-escalate the situation before things got too crazy. However, before leaving the club section, Russell Westbrook told the man, who was rocking Suns gear, to:
“watch your mouth m*th*rf*ck*r! Straight like that.”

According to an insider, visiting teams have been using the club area as a shortcut all season to get to the visitor’s locker room. Allegedly, the dispute occurred after Westbrook heard the man calling him “Westbrick.”
