Mayor Eric Adams Temporarily Co-Names NYC Streets After Knicks Players As Team Advances To Eastern Conference Finals
The Knicks are taking over the NYC streets.
To celebrate their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance since 2000, NYC has temporarily co-named streets across Manhattan after all 15 Knicks players, with each sign matching their jersey number. For example, Jalen Brunson Boulevard now sits at West 11th Street and Seventh Avenue.

Mayor Eric Adams said,
“The Knicks embody the spirit of New York… resilient, passionate, and unstoppable. On the path to a championship, we recognize the hard work and determination that have gotten this team to the Eastern Conference Finals, and we’re celebrating this team by temporarily co-naming our city streets so all New Yorkers can celebrate their Knicks pride.”
The signs will stay up through the playoff run.
Thoughts? If you’re in NYC, have you spotted the new street signs?
