“Being Mary Jane” Receives Date For Series Finale
“Being Mary Jane” has been scheduled to return to the small screen one last time. In October 2017, it was confirmed the BET signature drama would be cancelled and receive a 2-hr series finale, slated to air in 2018.

As 2018 came and went, the movie never saw the light of day. One of the lead actresses on the show, Margaret Avery, was questioned when the series would be making its final comeback; according to her, she was just as clueless as fans.

It looks like the network has finally given “Being Mary Jane” fans what they’ve desired. The 2-hr finale is scheduled to air April 16, 2019. Gabrielle Union, who plays Mary Jane Paul, informed her social media followers Tuesday about the return.

In the short clip, Mary Jane is standing in the mirror on her wedding day; mentally swindling through voices from her loved ones and friends as she prepares to walk down the aisle. Within the last episode, which aired September 17, 2017, Mary Jane was met with the ultimatum of choosing her friendship over her boyfriend. In the end, Justin, who is played by Michael Ealy, asked Mary Jane to marry her.
