“Killing Michael Jackson” Docu Will Examine Singer’s Death
New “Killing Michael Jackson” Doc Set to Examine Singer’s Death 10 Years Later
It’s hard to believe iconic singer Michael Jackson has been deceased for almost a decade. With June 25th rapidly approaching, a new documentary has been made to commemorate the anniversary of his death. “Killing Michael Jackson” is an hour-long British doc recently acquired by the Discovery Network, taking an in-depth look at the death of the icon.
Matt Graff, managing director of the film’s home, Zig Zag Productions, said this of the revealing documentary:
“We are delighted that this documentary has been picked up in territories across the world. This film focuses on the intriguing circumstances surrounding Michael Jackson’s death giving audiences a fascinating insight into the final moments of the pop star’s life and the criminal process that lead to the arrest and conviction of Dr. Conrad Murray.”
“Killing Michael Jackson” will reunite the investigative trio behind the original case. Orlando Martinez, Dan Myers and Scott Smith will give MJ fans a minute-by-minute breakdown of the events leading up to Michael’s death. They will re-open their Los Angeles Police Department case files revealing how they went about investigating such a high-profile death, exclusive interviews, and give more recent updates on the case. The doc is even rumored to examine the relationship between Michael and his infamous doctor who administered his fatal dose of Propofol – Dr. Conrad Murray.
This isn’t the first controversial Michael Jackson documentary of the year. HBO aired the Sundance doc, “Leaving Neverland,” uncovering shocking claims from two men who claim to have been molested by the singer as children. MJ’s family vehemently denies that the documentary’s claims hold any truth. Media mogul Oprah Winfrey even endured backlash for interviewing the alleged victims on the OWN Network.
