(EXCLUSIVE) Judge Orders Damon Dash to Pay $269K!
According to the docs, the company also wanted a court order to issue a restraining order from Dash transferring any funds around, because they reportedly accused him of hiding his assets due to his various creditors.
The company then headed back to court demanding the court order Dash and Rachel to be stopped from entering into a deal with another company to sell off Rachel’s brand — claiming they would be screwed on collecting their money if this was to happen.
On December 5th, the judge ordered that Dash had breached his settlement agreement with Kerison and Willoughby by not making the monthly payments he had agreed to pay. The order states that due to his breach of contract he has to pay the remaining amount owed on the judgement totaling $269,238.53. Further, it states that Dash is prohibited from making any business deals or selling off Rachel’s company and/or trademark. See the documents.
